Connecting yesterday's memories with today's tools.

  • You don't have to be a writer

  • You don't have to be comfortable with technology

  • You don't have to figure it all out on your own

Every Life Has A Story Worth Sharing

  • Think about the stories you remember from your parents, grandparents, friends or people who made a difference in your live.

  • Perhaps there's a favorite family story you've told dozens of times. Or a photograph that brings back a memory everytime you see it.

  • Now imagine someone you care about being able to hear that story in your own words. And perhaps even see you telling it - years from now. ——

  • It's not about writing your entire autobiography or crreating a professional documentary.

  • It's about choosing the moments that matter and giving them a place where they can be remembered, revisited and shared.

  • One story at a time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be a good writer?

Not at all. You don't have to write a book or master a complicated writing style. We'll focus on short meaningful stories told in your natural voice.

Do I have to appear on camera?

We encourage you to try because there is something especially meaningful about letting future viewers see and hear you telling your own story. You will learn about other recording options as well.

When do the live coaching sessions begin?

We are currently gathering participants for the first coaching groups. Once you have registered for the course you will be invited to select your first coaching session. We recommend that pick a date two weeks after signing up for the program since you immediately receive the first week of videos lessons and worksheets.

What if I'm not comfortable with technology?

That's one of the reasons this program exists. We'll keep the process practical, explain unfamiliar terms, and work through the steps in a friendly manageable way. You only have to learn a small part of what each platform can do. Just enough to complete your projects.

What if I need someone to help me with any part of the course?

Yes you can enlist support from a family member or friend to help you with different aspects of the course such as physical writing or help with the video recording aspects of the program. It's recommended that you share your finished work with someone you trust before you publish any stories.

Do I need expensive cameras or recording equipment?

No. We'll explore simple recording methods, including using equipment you may already own. All the special computer apps we use in the course have free platforms available.

Will my stories be available to everyone online?

Not unless you choose an appropriate public sharing option. You wil learn to choose the level of visibility that suits you and your stories.

Can I start before my coaching group begins?

Yes. In fact when you register for the program you will receive access to the first week's learning materials right away. The remaining lessons will follow on the dates you selected for your coaching group sessions.

What if I've already written some personal stories?

That's a wonderful starting point. If you have taken a Guided Autobiography workshop or already have a collections of written stories, you can spend some of the first two weeks of the program developing additional stories.

What if I don't have a computer?

Having a computer available to you is an important part of the course. But you could take the program if you have a close friend who is available for all the coaching calls and willing to work with you.
